hi all
i am stucked in the hunt.i have finnished the new quest line were Thackery propose at the end but when i go out to Ice Cliffs he isnt there .Is the Scavenger hunt deleted when the new chain is finnished?Nitx

Well, the Scavenger Hunt is part of War in Kryta.

I'm assuming since you have done the new chain with the proposal, that you mean Heart of the North. You have to of beaten War in Kryta to do Heart of the North, so it is safe to assume you have already done the Scavenger Hunt.

Meaning, you can't do it again. It is a one time thing in the War in Kryta storyline.

I never did scavenger hunt to complete WiK, however it IS a part of the new chain I believe.

Its the same for me i have completed WiK and HotN and he isnt there

He shouldn't be there.

If you have done WiK and HotN, then he won't be out there. He is only out there for the quest A Good Deed, and for the Scavenger Hunt, which are all part of WiK. Since you have beaten them already, he won't be there.

And HotN, isn't done yet. The Proposal (where Gwen tells him to fix his hair) is the last part "so far" in the storyline. There is nothing after that yet till Anet releases the next content patch.
